Registration

$100 per team

Registration for our 2024 tournament is now open here!

We are currently planning a traditional, in-person tournament at Solon High School for up to 72 teams.

Cancellation Policy

Team Cancellation

If your team has registered to attend the 2024 SHSSO Invitational, but is no longer able to do so, please communicate your cancellation in writing via email to shsso.coaches@gmail.com as soon as possible. Prompt communication minimizes the disruption to our planning process, maximizes the refund we are able to offer your team, and increases the odds your spot can be given to another school.

Cancellations communicated in writing on or before December 1, 2023 will be eligible for a $75 refund per team. Alternatively, your may elect for a $100 credit per team towards registering for our 2024 tournament.

Cancellations communicated in writing after December 1, 2023 will only eligible for a refund or credit if we are able to replace your team(s) with those of another school on our waiting list. If a replacement team can be identified, you will be eligible for a $50 refund or $75 credit per team.

If you request cancellation and are seeking a refund, please be advised that  payments may take up to 60 days to process from the time we receive your cancellation and school district's W9.

Tournament Cancellation or Change in Format

If our tournament is cancelled or changed in format due to inclement weather, the COVID-19 pandemic, utility outages, or other circumstances beyond our control, we will not be able to offer refunds or credits to registered teams. While this has fortunately not occurred in years past, both the weather in northeast Ohio and COVID-19 continue to be unpredictable. In the event that an in-person tournament is no longer feasible, we will do our best to transition to an appropriate virtual format (Satellite SO or Mini SO) rather than cancel the competition. If circumstances do require tournament cancellation, exams and keys will still be gathered and distributed to all registered teams.
