Our tournament is one of the largest and most competitive in the country, having hosted more than sixty teams from seven states at our 2025 tournament. These included five teams who placed in the top ten at the 2025 National Tournament and eight teams who placed in the top ten at the 2025 OHSO State Tournament.
We actively recruit national and state event supervisors, along with experienced alumni, to run events at our invitational. For 2025, six events were supervised or authored by a national event supervisor and eight were supervised or authored by an OHSO state event supervisor. Our event schedule exactly mirrors that of the National Tournament, as published in the rules manual. Additionally, because we focus exclusively on Division C, we are able to provide appropriate and spacious venues for all events.
We award medals or ribbons through eighth place for each event, and trophies to the best eight schools. A number of spirit awards and special prizes are also distributed. Additionally, we release raw scores, tests, and answer keys for all events to assist teams in better understanding and improving their performance.
This is our 32nd year hosting an invitational tournament, and we've certainly learned a few things about running a quality tournament over those years. Indeed, our coaching and scoring staff consistently plan an organized and fun tournament. Feedback or suggestions are always welcome, and communication is prompt.
We run an inexpensive concessions stand for all participants and guests. Our most recent "meal deal" was only $5 for an entree and drink. This is easily the least expensive offering we see at the many tournaments our team attends. For coaches, supervisors, and other volunteers: our famous hospitality room awaits. Anyone who has experienced it before can attest to its quality and diversity.
